Day to Day Experience
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Moshi. Take this day to rest, acclimate to the altitude, and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. Our team will provide a briefing and equipment check to ensure you are ready for the trek.
After breakfast, we drive from Moshi to Marangu Gate, where we complete the necessary registration formalities. Our trek begins through the lush rainforest, filled with diverse flora and fauna. The trail is well-maintained and gradually ascends, providing a pleasant introduction to the mountain. We reach Mandara Hut, our overnight accommodation, surrounded by beautiful scenery.
Leaving Mandara Hut, we continue our ascent through the enchanting rainforest. As we gain altitude, the vegetation changes, and we enter the moorland zone. The trail offers captivating views of the surrounding landscapes, including the majestic Mawenzi Peak. We reach Horombo Hut, where we spend the night and enjoy breathtaking sunset views.
Today’s trek takes us through the alpine desert as we make our way to Kibo Hut, situated at the base of the Kibo volcanic cone. The trail becomes steeper and more challenging as we approach our destination. We take frequent breaks to rest and acclimatize to the increasing altitude. Upon reaching Kibo Hut, we rest, have an early dinner, and prepare for the summit attempt.
We start our ascent to the summit, Uhuru Peak, in the early hours of the morning. The climb is demanding but rewarding. As we approach the summit, we witness the sunrise over the expansive African landscape, creating a truly unforgettable experience. Upon reaching Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro, we celebrate our achievement before descending to Marangu Gate. The descent takes us through the lush rainforest, and at Marangu Gate, we receive our summit certificates. Our team will then transfer you back to your hotel in Moshi.
Today marks the end of your Kilimanjaro adventure via the Marangu Route. After breakfast, we bid you farewell and transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. For larger groups, we have a Safari Land Cruiser, which offers ample space for both passengers and luggage. Trek Day:
On the day of your trek, we will arrange transportation from your hotel in Arusha to the starting point of your chosen route. The shuttle bus is spacious, allowing you to relax and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead. After Trek:
Upon completing your Kilimanjaro trek, we will arrange transportation from the mountain back to your hotel in Arusha. Our private Coaster shuttle bus will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you safely and comfortably. You can relax and reflect on your incredible achievement as our driver navigates the scenic routes back to your accommodation at either the Gran Melia Hotel Arusha or Mount Meru Hotel Arusha.
Airport Dropoff:
When it’s time to bid farewell to Tanzania, we will arrange transportation from your hotel to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
