Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International airport, our team will be there to warmly welcome you and escort you to your preferred destination. To ensure a comfortable and convenient start to your adventure, we can arrange accommodation before your scheduled tour for an additional fee. Relax and unwind in the comfort of your hotel room, and get ready to explore the beautiful country of Tanzania!
Accommodation: Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge
Your day starts with a convenient pickup at your hotel at 8 am before journeying across the Great Rift Valley. Despite being relatively small, covering an area of just 205 square miles, the park boasts awe-inspiring landscapes and is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, mahogany trees, and an ever-growing population of baboons and blue monkeys.
The park is home to a variety of permanent residents, including giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large herd of buffaloes. You will also have the chance to see numerous hippos lazing around in the lake. Words cannot do justice to the breathtaking scenery of Lake Manyara, which makes for excellent photo opportunities during game drives along the lake. Imagine capturing stunning images of giraffes and buffaloes with the lake in the background!
If you’re up for more adventure, additional tours are available, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion. After a day filled with excitement, you’ll return to camp in the afternoon for a delicious dinner.
Accommodation: Melia Serengeti Lodge
Day 3 of your safari adventure starts with an early breakfast before heading out to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. While the drive may be long, the breathtaking scenery along the way makes it a memorable experience for anyone visiting for the first time. The name Serengeti, which means “endless plains” in the local language, is a true reflection of the vastness of this park. Covering an area of 6,900 square miles (18,000 sq. km), the park’s seemingly infinite plains stretch out as far as the eye can see, providing an incredible experience that will challenge your sense of distance and scale.
Day 4 is all about exploring the Serengeti National Park to the fullest. As always, we’re completely flexible and will organize the day according to your preferences. Your guide will discuss with you the best timings for activities, including game drives and wake-up times. You may choose to do a morning game drive, head back to camp for lunch and relaxation, and finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could embark on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw Camp
Embark on a memorable journey from Serengeti to Ngorongoro, where you’ll witness the breathtaking beauty of nature in all its glory. To make the most of your day, we recommend an early wake-up call to catch the wildlife in action and marvel at the magnificent sunrise. After a thrilling morning game drive, indulge in a delicious brunch at the camp before we set off for Ngorongoro, an exceptional destination that’s considered the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. Spanning over 102 sq. miles, Ngorongoro’s walls rise to 2,000 ft, making it an awe-inspiring sight to behold. The crater is like Noah’s ark, providing a sanctuary for a vast array of wildlife species native to East Africa.
One of the most remarkable things about Ngorongoro is that it’s home to the endangered black rhino, a rarity in Africa. The area features a river, numerous swamps, a soda lake teeming with flamingos, a forest, and sprawling plains, all of which make it an incredibly diverse habitat. It’s also famous for its majestic elephants, which boast the largest tusks in the world. As the day draws to a close, we’ll arrive at Ngorongoro in time for a picturesque sundowner. The Ngorongoro Crater is undoubtedly one of the most magnificent natural wonders that you’ll ever have the pleasure of experiencing.
