Between July 1, 2022, and December 31, 2023, travellers who book tours departing during this period can benefit from our ‘Book with Confidence policy. Under this policy, they can cancel their tour, accommodation, or extra or transfer services up to 30 days before the departure date at no charge, provided they reschedule the travel to a later date within two years of the original departure date. If the rebooked tour is priced higher than the original one, the traveller will have to pay the difference, and if it is priced lower, they will receive a travel credit for the difference that will be valid for two years.

The ‘Book with Confidence policy can be used an unlimited number of times for different bookings, but each booking can only be cancelled and rebooked once. Any further changes after the first rebooking will be subject to our standard terms and conditions. The policy does not apply to airfare or insurance, and any change or cancellation fees related to airlines are the traveller’s responsibility.

Visas, travel insurance, and vaccines are also the traveller’s responsibility, and no refunds will be provided for them. Custom- or Tailor-Made tours cannot be cancelled and rebooked under this policy, but they can be rebooked onto any other eligible tour subject to the policy’s terms.

The ‘Book with Confidence policy does not apply to Alkebulan Journeys, Alkebulan Family Journeys Trips, Mountain Hiking Itineraries, or Private Tailor-Made trips. These tours are subject to our standard booking terms and conditions.

Bookings can be made via phone, our website, or with a local travel agent. The policy can be combined with other offers, promotions, or discounts, but these are not transferable to rebooking’s. Alkebulan Travels reserves the right to withdraw the policy at any time and correct any errors or omissions. Technical or system errors that prevent the use of the policy are not the responsibility of Alkebulan Travels.

COVID-19 Reason

Under the Book with Confidence policy, if a tour is cancelled due to COVID-19, travellers can cancel and rebook their confirmed tour services, pre- or post-tour accommodation services, extra services, or transfer services. This option is available to those who test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of departure (referred to as a “COVID Reason”). 

To qualify for this policy, travellers must provide Alkebulan Travels with an official COVID-19 positive test result dated within 14 days of their departure. If they cannot provide this, standard cancellation terms will be applied, and the rescheduled services will be cancelled. Alternatively, at Alkebulan Travels’ discretion, the traveller may be eligible to receive a travel credit equal to 100% of the price paid for the confirmed services. This credit must be used for services departing within 2 years from the date of cancellation. All other terms set out in this policy apply unless specified otherwise.
