About the Project:

Alkebulan Travels is committed to responsible tourism that promotes environmental conservation and supports local communities. We recognize the importance of addressing the environmental and climate change challenges facing Tanzania, and that’s why we launched the ClimaTree Responsible Tourism Project.

This project is a comprehensive approach to promoting environmental conservation and sustainable tourism practices. Select the tree species to be planted.
Develop a detailed plan for implementation.
Develop a fundraising strategy to support the project.

Implementation Phase:

Actual tree planting takes place from January to March each year a season of rain in Tanzania.
Work with local communities to source labour for planting and nurturing the trees.
Educate local communities about the importance of responsible tourism practices and the benefits of sustainable tourism.

Monitoring and Evaluation Phase:

Monitor the progress of the project and evaluate its impact on the environment and local communities.
Create a database to track the growth of the trees and to measure the carbon sequestration potential of the project.
