This itinerary is carefully designed to maximize your wildlife encounters, taking you through diverse landscapes, from the vast Serengeti plains to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania | 1 Night in Arusha

Accommodation: Gran Melia Hotel
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International airport, our team will be there to warmly welcome you and escort you to your preferred destination. To ensure a comfortable and convenient start to your adventure, we can arrange accommodation before your scheduled tour for an additional fee. Relax and unwind in the comfort of your hotel room, and get ready to explore the beautiful country of Tanzania!
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park | 1 Night in the Park

Accommodation: Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge
Your day starts with a convenient pickup at your hotel at 8 am before journeying across the Great Rift Valley. Despite being relatively small, covering an area of just 205 square miles, the park boasts awe-inspiring landscapes and is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, mahogany trees, and an ever-growing population of baboons and blue monkeys.
The park is home to a variety of permanent residents, including giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a large herd of buffaloes. You will also have the chance to see numerous hippos lazing around in the lake. Words cannot do justice to the breathtaking scenery of Lake Manyara, which makes for excellent photo opportunities during game drives along the lake. Imagine capturing stunning images of giraffes and buffaloes with the lake in the background!
If you’re up for more adventure, additional tours are available, such as a bike tour or a boat excursion. After a day filled with excitement, you’ll return to camp in the afternoon for a delicious dinner.
Day 3: Experience Ngorongoro Crater | 1 Night among Lions

Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge
To fully experience Ngorongoro Crater, we recommend starting your day early with a transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From there, you can descend into the crater and spend a magical morning observing the wildlife in its natural habitat. After an unforgettable afternoon game drive, you can ascend the crater and transfer back to your accommodations. Whether you are an avid wildlife enthusiast or simply appreciate the beauty of nature, a visit to Ngorongoro Crater is an experience that you will never forget.
Ngorongoro Crater is a magnificent location that is considered one of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in the world. Covering an area of 102 square miles, the crater boasts towering walls that rise up to 2,000 feet, creating a virtual Noah’s ark for the diverse species of wildlife that call East Africa home. The area is home to an incredible variety of animals, including the rare black rhino, which can only be seen in a few select locations on the entire continent. Visitors to Ngorongoro Crater can also marvel at the sight of elephants, which are the largest in the world and possess enormous tusks. The crater itself features a river, several swamps, a soda lake that is home to large numbers of flamingos, a lush forest, and expansive open plains. All of these elements work together to create a truly breathtaking landscape that is unlike anything else on Earth.
Day 4 - 5: Explore Central Serengeti National park | 2 Nights

Accommodation: Acacia Central Camp
Day 4 of your safari adventure starts with an early breakfast before heading out to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. While the drive may be long, the breathtaking scenery along the way makes it a memorable experience for anyone visiting for the first time. The name Serengeti, which means “endless plains” in the local language, is a true reflection of the vastness of this park. Covering an area of 6,900 square miles (18,000 sq. km), the park’s seemingly infinite plains stretch out as far as the eye can see, providing an incredible experience that will challenge your sense of distance and scale.
Day 5 is all about exploring the Serengeti National Park to the fullest. As always, we’re completely flexible and will organize the day according to your preferences. Your guide will discuss with you the best timings for activities, including game drives and wake-up times. You may choose to do a morning game drive, head back to camp for lunch and relaxation, and finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you could embark on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch.
Day 6-7: Follow Great Wildebeest Migration | 2 Nights

Accommodation: Acacia Migration Camp
For two unforgettable days, you will embark on a thrilling journey through the expansive Serengeti plains as you follow the Great Migration. Our expert guides will take you to remote locations where you can witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of wildebeest and other grazing animals as they make their way across the grasslands.
The specific areas we visit will depend on the time of year, ensuring that you have the best possible chance of witnessing this incredible natural phenomenon. You may journey as far as the remote North of the Serengeti near the border with Kenya, or explore the South in the Ndutu Area, or even venture to the Western part of the park. With our experienced team of guides, you will have the opportunity to witness the migration up close and personal, while also learning about the ecosystem of the Serengeti and the diverse wildlife that call it home.
Day 8: Departing the Serengeti | Flying above the wildlife
Accommodation: N/A
On your final day in the Serengeti, we recommend an early wake-up call for an unforgettable morning game drive. As the animals are more active in the early hours, you’ll have an excellent chance of spotting wildlife that you may have missed during your previous game drives. Plus, you’ll witness one of the most spectacular sunrises you’ll ever see, creating a breathtaking backdrop for your safari adventure. After the game drive, we’ll return to camp for a satisfying brunch, allowing you to fuel up for your journey ahead. From there, we’ll head to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha or your next destination, whether it be the exotic island of Zanzibar or elsewhere.
Alternatively, if you prefer a more relaxed morning, you may choose to stay at camp and take advantage of its amenities. Regardless of your choice, you can be assured of an unforgettable experience that will stay with you long after your departure from the Serengeti.
Day 9: Journey Ends | Departure
As your safari adventure draws to a close, it’s time to bid farewell to Tanzania and begin your journey back home. Our team will ensure that you arrive at the airport in a timely and stress-free manner. If you require additional accommodation before your departure, we would be happy to arrange this for you at an extra cost.
Thank you for choosing us to guide you through the beauty and majesty of Tanzania. We hope that this experience has left you with unforgettable memories and a newfound appreciation for the natural wonders of Africa. We look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting safari adventure in the future. Safe travels!
