Safari Itinerary
Day 0: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will greet you and drive you to your lodge in Arusha. After check-in, relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Take this time to rest, shake off jet lag, and prepare for your incredible safari adventure ahead
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Safari Begins
After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park. Famous for giant baobabs and impressive elephant herds, Tarangire offers authentic wildlife viewing in a quiet, scenic setting. Enjoy a full-day game drive before checking into your lodge for a relaxing evening.
Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingo-filled lake, and lush forests. Spend the day spotting wildlife in this beautiful setting, then return to your lodge in Karatu.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
Leave the Great Rift Valley behind and journey into the vast plains of the Serengeti. Game drive en route, spotting animals and soaking up the endless landscapes as you move deeper into the park.
Day 4: Central Serengeti
Explore the central Serengeti, one of the best areas for seeing lions, cheetahs, leopards, and large herbivore herds. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, stopping for a bush picnic lunch.
Day 5: North Serengeti
Today, head toward the northern Serengeti, closer to the Mara River. Along the way, enjoy sightings of migrating wildebeest, zebras, and predators following the herds.
Day 6: North Serengeti
Spend a full day tracking the herds and waiting for the awe-inspiring river crossings. Patience is key — but once the action starts, it’s one of nature’s most powerful displays. You may also spot crocodiles lying in wait, or lions stalking the herds.
Day 7: Return to Central Serengeti
After a morning game drive, begin your journey back to the central Serengeti. Enjoy more opportunities to see predators and plains game along the way. This day provides a perfect mix of action and relaxation.
Day 8: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start early for a final Serengeti game drive, then head toward Ngorongoro. Pass Maasai villages and spectacular scenery as you approach the crater rim.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife paradise featuring a dense population of predators, elephants, hippos, and rare black rhinos. Spend a half-day exploring before returning to your lodge for a quiet evening.
Day 10: Maasai Visit and Return to Arusha
Visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their way of life and culture. Afterward, drive back to Arusha, where you’ll spend a relaxed final evening.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Your short but unforgettable safari adventure comes to an end, leaving you with amazing memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
