Safari Itinerary
In just 3 days, explore Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater, packed with incredible wildlife and stunning landscapes.
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania | 1 Night in Arusha
Your adventure begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our representative will be waiting to welcome you. After a brief introduction, you’ll be transferred to Under the Shade Safari Lodge/Lake Duluti Lodge in Arusha, a peaceful retreat where you can rest and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Enjoy the serene surroundings, a delicious dinner, and a comfortable overnight stay before your safari begins.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
An early morning start takes you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations in Africa—the Ngorongoro Crater. After descending into the crater, you’ll embark on a full-day game drive, with high chances of spotting the Big Five—elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s unique landscape is also home to hippos, hyenas, jackals, and thousands of grazing wildebeests and zebras.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater

After an eventful day at the Ngorongoro Crater, indulge in a delightful breakfast as the sun rises and prepare for your next destination: Tarangire National Park. Embark on a full day of game drives in this lesser-visited park, where you can relish the tranquillity and have ample opportunities to witness majestic herds of elephants roaming amidst the iconic Baobab trees. Tarangire National Park boasts the highest concentration of wild elephants in the world, and you can witness these magnificent creatures up close as they drink from the Tarangire River or enjoy a refreshing mud bath. Bird enthusiasts will also be delighted, as the park is a haven for a variety of bird species. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even tree-climbing pythons in this diverse ecosystem.
As the day draws to a close, retreat to the comfort and luxury of the Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, strategically located in one of the most picturesque areas of the Tarangire region. From the lodge, enjoy breathtaking views over the Tarangire savannah, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection.
Day 4: Tarangire Game Drive & Return to Arusha

On the final leg of your 5-day Tanzania safari, savor a memorable evening with delectable cuisine and a mesmerizing sunset. Make the most of your last morning by embarking on an epic game drive, soaking in the sights and sounds of the African wilderness. Later, your private driver will pick you up from the luxurious Tarangire safari lodge and transport you to Kilimanjaro airport, ensuring you arrive in time for your return journey home.
Day 5: Departure – Transfer to the Airport
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Your short but unforgettable safari adventure comes to an end, leaving you with amazing memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
