Overview
The Forodhani package is a 5-day Zanzibar experience that brings together the history of Stone Town, the tastes of local spice farms, and the beauty of Zanzibar’s northern beaches. You’ll start in the heart of Stone Town and move on to the white sands of Kendwa Beach.
This package includes a guided walking tour of historic sites, a visit to the iconic spice farms, and a full-day Safari Blue tour for marine exploration. It’s the ideal mix of culture, beach relaxation, and ocean activity.



Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar & Transfer to Stone Town

Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to the historic Stone Town. Check in at Africa House Hotel, known for its colonial charm and sea-facing views. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or enjoy a short evening stroll along the seafront. Overnight at Africa House Hotel.
Day 2: Stone Town Tour + Spice Farm Tour
After breakfast, your guide will meet you for a half-day walking tour through Stone Town. Visit sites like the Town Market, House of Wonders, Old Fort, and the former Slave Market. Learn the deep history of Zanzibar’s trade and cultural fusion. After lunch (on your own), head to Kizimbani for a guided tour of a spice farm. Discover, touch, and taste spices like cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and fresh tropical fruits. Return to Africa House Hotel for your second night.
Day 3: Transfer to Kendwa Beach
After breakfast, you’ll transfer approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to the beautiful Kendwa Beach. Check in at Sunset Kendwa Hotel, located right along the ocean. Enjoy a full day of relaxation on the beach with soft sands and clear waters. Overnight at Sunset Kendwa Hotel.
Day 4: Full-Day Safari Blue Tour
Begin early with a transfer to Fumba Village, the departure point for Safari Blue. Board a traditional dhow and sail across Menai Bay. Your day includes sandbank picnics, snorkeling over vibrant coral reefs, a seafood BBQ lunch on Kwale Island, and visits to giant baobab trees and a natural lagoon. This is a shared group experience. Return to Sunset Kendwa Hotel in the evening.Rise early for a 6:00 AM transfer to the northeastern coast for your half-day marine tour. A boat ride will take you to the waters near Mnemba Island, one of Zanzibar’s top spots for marine life. With luck, you’ll see pods of dolphins swimming nearby. Snorkel in the coral reefs surrounded by tropical fish and soak in the calm morning sea. You’ll be served fresh fruit on board before returning to Stone Town. The rest of your day is free to explore or relax at your leisure. Overnight at Serena Inn.
Day 5: Departure
Depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred back to the airport for your onward journey.After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the ferry terminal for your journey back to Dar es Salaam or your next destination. Your short but rich stay in Zanzibar comes to a close, filled with new memories and island warmth.
