Overview
The Jozani package is a 6-day holiday perfect for travelers looking for a balance of cultural discovery and full beach relaxation. It includes guided tours through Stone Town’s historic landmarks, a spice farm visit, and a full-day marine adventure with Safari Blue.
You’ll begin in vibrant Stone Town and then spend three nights relaxing on Kendwa’s white-sand beach. With well-paced experiences, this package lets you explore, unwind, and soak in the essence of Zanzibar at your own rhythm.
Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
After your flight from Arusha, a driver will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Stone Town. Check in at Tembo Beach Hotel and enjoy the sea breeze just outside your door. Take the evening to relax after your safari adventure.
Day 2: Spice Farm and Stone Town Walking Tour
Your morning begins with a deep dive into Zanzibar’s heritage with a guided walking tour through the historical streets of Stone Town. Visit local markets, the House of Wonders, Old Fort, Slave Market, and many other landmarks. Afterward, continue to Kizimbani for the famous Spice Farm tour. You’ll touch, smell, and taste a range of spices and tropical fruits. Return to Tembo Hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Kendwa Beach
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic transfer (approx. 1 hour 20 minutes) to Kendwa Beach. Check in at Sunset Kendwa Hotel and enjoy the rest of your day unwinding on the beach. Dinner is served at the hotel.
Day 4: Full Day at Leisure on the Beach
Spend your day relaxing at your own pace. Whether it’s lounging by the water, reading, or joining optional beach activities, Kendwa offers a peaceful break. Overnight at Sunset Kendwa Hotel.
Day 5: Safari Blue Full-Day Tour
After breakfast, travel to Fumba Village to begin your full-day Safari Blue experience. Sail on a traditional dhow, snorkel in Menai Bay, visit sandbanks, enjoy a seafood BBQ lunch on Kwale Island, and explore the natural lagoon. Return to Kendwa for your final overnight.
Day 6: Departure
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight. Time depends on your departure schedule.
