- Altitude Sickness: Climbing above 3,000m carries inherent risks. Our guides are trained to monitor your health daily and adjust the pace accordingly.
- Tipping: Tipping the mountain crew is an industry standard in Tanzania. We will provide tipping guidelines in your booking package.
- Weather: Mountain weather is unpredictable. You must pack for extreme cold, high winds, and rain regardless of the season.
- Gear Rental: High-quality gear (such as -20°C sleeping bags and heavy parkas) can be rented independently or through Alkebulan Travels upon arrival in Moshi/Arusha.
